The Motorola Moto G4 Play is a handset you can buy right now on the Motorola website. £129.98 gets you a 5″ 720p HD screen (1280×720), Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with 16GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot.
Whilst the 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM isn’t going to challenge the top-end smartphones, it’s not-much-money. You get an “all-day (2800 mAh) battery” with water repellent nano-coating, 4G connectivity, 8 megapixel f/2.2 aperture rear shooter (with LED flash) and a 5 megapixel selfie camera.
Charging is done via a microUSB port and there’s a 3.5 mm headset jack plus Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and WiFi connectivity.
Vodafone have just got in touch with us and are now undercutting the price on the Motorola price. They’re selling it for just £120 on pay as you go right here.
