Heard of Shoptimix? It’s available for both Apple and Android and basically lets you create shopping lists and manage them in a fast and easy way.
Yesterday they launched a new Android version which adds a new “Speedy Shopping”. It’ll let you whizz through the products and then it’ll give you the best priced basket. Not only that but, once you’ve got your list sorted, you can see how the price differs between supermarkets before you order.
I’ve given it a quick spin and it’s kinda cool to be able to create several lists so that you can quickly grab your usual stuff, but currently only Tesco seems to be supported within the app and other stores are greyed out.
The app also provides recommendations tailored to nutritional goals or diets. It can although do healthy eating or gluten and dairy free foods too.
Everything seems quick and items get categorised automatically, you can speak to it and it’ll store your items in a history so you don’t have to do a lot of repeat searching. The app also lets you set a shopping reminder so you actually remember to do the shopping too. 🙂
Here’s a video of it in action..
