OnePlus today opened up orders of the updated OnePlus 3 – the OnePlus 3T. It’s now available unlocked in the UK and across Europe. Priced at £399 for 64GB and £439 for new larger storage option at 128GB, it’s also available in the new “Gunmetal” colour. No news on the elusive rose gold colour, which says “Notify me when available” on the 64GB version. According to the OnePlus UK webpage the shipping time is 5 days,
The main differences from the OnePlus 3 are a faster Snapdragon 821 processor, a bigger 3,400mAh battery, a 16-megapixel front camera and some software tweaks (which are also supposed to heading to us OnePlus 3 owners too).
Now, regular readers of the site will know that I’m a OnePlus supporter, I’ve had every device that this fledgling smartphone manufacture has produced, except the 3T as my current 3 is only 5 months old. My worry is that the prices of devices are slowly starting to increase, making other mid-range devices appear more appealing.
The new device can be ordered direct from the OnePlus site or on contract exclusive via O2.
