The first thing this actually reminded me of was the Honor 5C, however, it’s actually a replacement for the Honor 5A, announced in January last year.
This, the Honor 6A, is available to pre-order from vMall and will be on sale this Friday, August 4th, with Three UK. The price is a mere £149.99 and it runs a Snapdragon 430 CPU.
This has an octa-core processor with 4 x 1.2GHz and 4 x 1.0 GHz.
Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for more.
The metal unibody measures 8.05mm thick, and although there’s no fingerprint sensor, you get an impressive 13 megapixel rear camera with 0.3-second Phase Detection Auto Focus tech. Up front is a 5 megapixel selfie camera with beauty mode.
The display is a 5″ 1280×720 pixel unit and inside you’ll find Android 7.0 plus EMUI 5.1.
Other details include 4G, VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth plus a 3.020mAh battery.
Get it direct on vmall and each purchase includes a black tripod selfie stick. Meanwhile, via Three, you can get it on PAYG for £149.99 or through a variety of contracts starting at £11 a month. Head to the Three store from August 4th.
One thing we couldn’t find in the specs I NFC, so possibly no Android Pay. We’re checking on this now.
