Well, as you’ll know if you’ve seen our contract and SIM-only deals recently, we love to find a good deal.
Here, from TOMTOP, is an offer on the Letv LeEco Le 2 X520. It’s a smartphone with an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (1.8GHz x 4 + 1.4GHz x 4) CPU and it comes with 3GB. There’s a 5.5″ 1920x1080p screen and it’ll do 4G, although as this is from China I’ve checked into it and it won’t get the lower 800 and 900MHz 4G bands (only 1800MHz / Band 3, 2100MHz / Band 1 and 2600MHz / Band 7).
Inside you’ve got 32GB of storage (sadly no microSD expansion), a fingerprint sensor, GPS, WiFi, 16 megapixel rear f/2.0 camera and an 8 megapixel front f/2.2 wide-angle shooter. That rear camera has dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection Auto Focus.
It’s supplied totally unlocked and comes with a quick-charge 3000mAh battery and Bluetooth 4.2. It looks like there’s no 3.5mm audio port. The guys from TOMTOP tell us that they’ve got a flash deal on this, with a 35% discount. This knocks it down from $208.39 to $136.99. In sterling that’s £105.48 instead of £160.46.
