During Mobile World Congress the LG G7 appeared on the LG stand in Barcelona. After this we heard that it was actually an early iteration of the device, and another device would probably take the LG G7 name.
However, Evan Blass (leaker extraordinaire) has now changed his mind on this. According to different sources it appears that this device is indeed the LG G7. Complete with “that” notch (the Wiko View 2 handsets and the Noa N10 also seem to have iPhone X-like notches.. it must be a “thing”).
These pictures came from Ynet reporter Guy Levy, who quickly got the cold shoulder treatment from LG following the publication of the shots. It appears that this was an invite-only thing behind the stand and presumably you’re not supposed to be taking photos.
Specs include a 6″ 1440 x 3120 / 19.5:9 screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU and a dual vertically-arrange 16 megapixel rear f1.6 camera setup. There’s going to be a couple of versions – a 4GB memory one with 64GB storage and a 6GB memory model with 128GB storage. It also seems to have a speaker system which works best on a flat surface to amplify your music.
NFC, a 3000mAh battery, WiFi, GPS and all the usual tricks will be on board.
