Word up. It’s Thursday. Nearly the end of the week already and yes, the sun is out here in the UK. Here in the Coolsmartphone office we’re still recovering from Prince Harry’s stag do but the Honor press team have been banging down our door since dawn.
Their super-reflective, super-shiny and colour-cogitating Honor 10 definitely seems to be doing the business for them right now. Announced on Monday, it’s got clever camera AI wizardry and a nano-scale optical colour coating which makes the back give off 3D reflections. There’s 15 layers of shimmering “phantom” colours.
After just 6 hours on sale at hihonor.com it sold out across Spain. Then, just a few hours later, the Phantom Blue shade sold in France.
Sales have been going great guns, with over 80,000 €30 coupons grabbed from social media to drop the price of the Honor 10 to just €369.90.
George Zhao, President of Honor, told us he’s delighted at the response from fans. Meanwhile, the Honor 10 is still available for £399.99 from HiHonor.com/UK, plus Three UK Stores and online. You can also find it in Carphone Warehouse, Argos, Amazon, and AO.
I’ll make do with my broken Honor 9 a bit longer, but this is a fantastic handset for less than £400. Don’t forget, I recently had a friend pay over £200 just to replace the screen on a Galaxy S8, so spending less for the Honor 10 just makes sense in my head.
