I love Honor kit. Well specced, well priced. Check my Honor 8X review as an example. I love this phone and should have given it back by now. But haven’t.
Anyway, on Saturday Honor unveiled their new logo and asked the Twittersphere if they liked it. Thing is. I don’t like it. Not at all. I’ll give you my reasons and, although it might sound like a tiny thing, I really believe that Honor need to re-think this.
here’s the new logo..
Now.. I hate to complain, especially when the company is so good. But, it’s perhaps not a good idea to show someone sitting on the edge of a tall building playing with their phone, especially in the wake of recent deaths surrounding people doing this. I’ve responded to the tweet but not heard a response as yet.
I know it’s a bit of a tedious link, and it’s “only a picture”, but there’s recent coverage like this and like this which just shows the damage done when people climb high buildings or cliffs to try and get striking and dangerous selfie shots. So, showing someone sitting precariously at the top of a tall building, with the phone on a lanyard… it’s just not the right message, and I think they should have a re-think about this one.
Honor launch their new logo.. but.. I have a problem
