We mentioned the fact that the Reno 5G was, in the UK at least, scheduled as an exclusive to EE.
However, Jonathan Morris, from the excellent jmcomms.com, has sent over some more pictures of the Reno range, including the new Reno 5G. It shows that cool motorised pop-up selfie camera in action, as you can see here. This means that there’s none of the screen used for a selfie shooter, so there’s more real-estate for everything else.
The Oppo Reno 5G has a 6.6″ Full HD AMOLED display and is due to arrive in May, with availability on EE exclusively here in the UK later on in the year.
This one is going to be slightly pricey, with an €899 price-tag announced at the launch, which translates to around £799 in sterling. The spec, though, is really very good and Oppo are pushing hard at the moment with their marketing activity.
The camera setup at the rear is a triple camera arrangement with a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 20MP secondary zoom lens and a ToF (Time of Flight) 3D camera. It also has 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage available with a big 4,065 mAh battery.
It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with Qualcomm’s X55 modem to power the 5G.
