Arriving after the OnePlus 7 Pro, this is the little brother – the OnePlus 7. It’ll be cheaper at £499 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model storage, or £549 for the 8GB / 256GB version.
The differences? Well, there’s none of that pop-up camera cleverness and none of that Warp Charge either. It’s got a lower capacity battery (3700mAh instead of 4000mAh) and the screen is a 6.41″ screen which is a bit lower resolution at 2340 x 1080 pixels and 402 ppi.
You do get the same Android 9.0 OS and the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core 2.84 GHz CPU and dual-band WiFi, GPS, NFC etc.
The rear camera setup is different though. You get the 48 megapixel Sony shooter and a 5 megapixel secondary camera plus a dual LED flash.
Up front, instead of that pop-up camera, you’ve go an in-display 16 megapixel Sony sensor.
This one will be arriving in June. Here’s a look at it next to the OnePlus 7 Pro.
