Word on the street here in Valencia is that Asus are cranking things up a notch with their smartphone attack. Their flagship ZenFone 6 is due to land very shortly, but we already know that it’ll be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU because, well, it says it right there on the invite.
Rumours on this one include a dual rear camera (supposedly 48 megapixel primary and a 13 megapixel secondary), 4000mAh battery and dual-SIM support. We’re also hearing that there’s be a 6GB RAM version with 128GB storage and an 8GB RAM version with 256GB storage. Like that OnePlus 7 Pro we saw in London a couple of days ago, there’s also a 12GB RAM variant, but with 512GB storage. There’s also murmurs of a microSD card slot, but we’ll have to see.
Also, it’s said to have the “courage port” – a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apparently it’ll have Android 9 (Pie) and a 6.4″ Full HD+ (1080×2340 pixel) display using a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
