Huawei woes. Now Panasonic leave Huawei high and dry


The American businessman, Donald Trump, has single-handedly delivered a hammer-blow to the Huawei and Honor operation.

We’ve already covered the recent problems, which include EE not ranging Huawei 5G phones and ARM stopping HiSilicon using their chip technology, but now things – if it were possible – have got even worse.

Panasonic have today joined the growing line of companies that are leaving Huawei.

Joe Flynn, a Panasonic spokesman, told us…

We’ve stopped all business transactions with Huawei and its 68 group companies that are subject to the US government ban.

ARM, Google, Qualcomm, Lumentum and others have also stopped working with Huawei and its various companies.

US President, and full-time nut-job, Donald Trump, declared a “national emergency” and listed companies which were considered a “security risk”.
