BBC iPlayer and YouTube now added to the EE Video Data Pass

Heard about the Video Data Pass? On EE it basically means that you can watch as much video as you like from selected providers without it impacting your allowances. We covered it and the other Smart Plans in detail back in May but now there’s some even better news, because EE have added both YouTube and iPlayer into the mix.

This means that you can catch up on Top Gear, Killing Eve or Luther without using a drop of your data. You can also watch our large selection of YouTube content too.

EE 4G and 5G Smart Plan customers get it, or you can buy a standalone Pass for £8.99 per month. iPlayer and YouTube joins Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, BT Sport, TV Player and MTV Play.

If TV isn’t your thing, you can switch as often as you like via the “My EE” app or online. Switch to a Music Data Pass, BT Sport App or a Roam Further Pass so that you can head to the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand without getting a massive data bill.

Other free perks available include “Upgrade Anytime” and an extended device warranties.
