We were there back in May when it was announced and we’ve shown you all around the phone. It’s got a 48 megapixel AI-powered quad camera, the powerful Kirin 980 processor and a 6.26″ “All View Display” with a stunning 91.6% screen-to-body ratio.
The four lenses include a 16 megapixel Super Wide Angle one, the 48 megapixel main shooter, an 8 megapixel Telephoto lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens. This has meant that the phone has achieved a DXOMark score of 111 combined.
This, for those in the know, sounds and looks a lot like a phone you’d expect from the guys at Huawei. Indeed, it’s not got the traditional budget price-tag – you’ll have to find £549.99 for this one – but it’s still very good value for money. If you buy it between August 1st and August 18th, they’ll also give you an Honor Watch Magic for nothing! This normally costs another £179.99.
In exclusive to Carphone Warehouse in the Phantom Blue colour, or there’s the Phantom Black version at Amazon, Argos, MPD, Very, A1 Comms and Carphone Warehouse too. I’d go for the blue if you can as that mesh layered finish looks stunning.
Specs include a hole-punch 32-megapixel selfie front camera, 4000mAh battery with quick charging, USB-C charge port, Bluetooth 5.0, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, surround sound, dual-band WiFi, GPS and GPU Turbo 3.0 for super-fast gaming
UPDATE – Honor will be selling the 8GB / 256GB model here in the UK.
