Join us in just a few hours for the OnePlus 7T Launch. We’ll be heading to Magazine London, which is just a few yards from The O2, to cover the event. Things kick off a 4PM BST, which is 5PM in the rest of Europe.
What do we know about the new handset? Well, quite a lot actually. The CEO of OnePlus has already shown us the thing last month and you’ll be able to get your hands on it this Saturday in London too. It’s got a silky-smooth 90Hz “Fluid AMOLED” screen plus a triple rear camera setup which is house inside one larger round bezel.
The prices have just leaked too, with Ishan Agarwal stating that the McLaren Edition will be appearing again and, as expected, it’ll be the most expensive with a pricetag of €849-€859 for the 12GB/256GB model. That’s roughly £769-£779. Prices are rumoured to be starting at €589-€599 for the 8GB/128GB OnePlus 7T. That’s around £539-£549 probably (provided Boris doesn’t do any more mad stuff to tank the Pound).
In edition, and via EvoMag specs will include the same camera spec we saw on the OnePlus 7 Pro (a 48 megapixel, 8 megapixel and 16 megapixel arrangement), 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-band WiFi, dual-SIM, NFC, Type-C charging and two colours – a glacier blue and frosted white version.
Specs on GSMArena also disagree slightly on the camera – apparently it’ll replace the 8 megapixel lens mentioned above with a 12 megapixel. They also have a 16 megapixel selfie shooter.
Other details are an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, 3800mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge 30T and Android 10 with the OxygenOS 10.0.3. CPU-wise we’re looking at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ octa-core unit (1×2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.78 GHz Kryo 485) and an Adreno 640 GPU. No microSD but there’s 128GB of internal storage on the base unit and 256GB on the upper version. Both will have 8GB RAM.
