Those of you who were watching our live Realme coverage may have spotted this pricing slide..
Notice how, down at the bottom there, it says, “Flash sale”?
Well, we were a bit concerned by that. The pricing of the entry-level Realme 5 Pro, the mid-range X2 and the top-end (this is the one you should buy) X2 Pro. It all seemed really good – almost too good. That led us to asking the question, “Are these sale prices?”
Well, we asked the lovely PR people in Madrid and they said…
Those are indeed the regular prices for realme smartphones, and not sale prices
As we mentioned in our Realme coverage, this is a new brand hitting Europe but one which comes from a familiar stable. You’ll notice similar specs and equipment here (that 6.5″ 2400×1080 Super AMOLED unit with 402ppi and 1000 nit is no doubt a close relative to the one in the OnePlus 7T) but, available from Amazon eBay and direct very soon, these are more aggressively priced.
Head to Realme.com to be notified as to when these are available. What all this does mean though is that, when the flash sales do start they will be an absolute bargain price.
