Coming soon to a store near you, this is the G8 Power. It comes with a 5000mAh battery for a full two-day battery life plus an AI-powered quad camera setup.
Powered by Android 10, there’s 64GB of storage built in and you can add up to another 512GB via a microSD card. The phone also includes 4GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU. It’s also equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor, 15W TurboPower charging (18W charger in the box) and it has a 6.4″ 19:9 IPS Full HD (2300 x 1080) 399ppi screen.
It weighs in at 197g and is available in either black or blue.
That quad-camera setup is a 16 megapixel main shooter, a 2 megapixel macro, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle and an 8 megapixel telephoto. The camera-gizmos include macro video, slow motion video, timelapse video, hyperlapse video plus electronic video stabilization. There’s a 16 megapixel selfie shooter too.
The G8 Power also comes with Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, but has just single-band (2.4GHz) WiFi and no NFC – so no tappy-tappy payments.
Charging is via USB-C and we should mention that the camera tech includes quad pixel technology to deliver more vivid photos. There’s Dolby audio which is 50% louder.
The phone has been announced as Motorola celebrates selling 100 million moto g smartphones all around the world.
