Available in “Peacock Blue” or “Sunrise Red”, this is going to be available shortly in selected parts of Latin America, Europe and Asia. Motorola have announced the new phone, which is powered by Android 9 (Pie).
Inside there’s a MediaTek Helio P22 CPU running at 2.0GHz. The e6s also has 2GB RAM, 32GB on-board storage and a microSD slot for up to 256GB more. It has a 6.1″ “Max Vision” HD+ LCD (1560×720 / 19.5:9) screen which runs at 282ppi, a 3000mAh battery, 5W charging, 4G, GPS, WiFi (2.4GHz only), Bluetooth 4.2 plus a 3.5mm audio jack.
There’s no NFC, so no tappy-tappy payments. There’s a microUSB port for charging.
The entry-level device gets a dual-lens rear camera arrangement, with a 13 megapixel and a 2 megapixel lens sitting opposite a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. There’s Bokeh, Photo, Video, Panorama, Face beauty and HDR mode here too.
Use the ultra-fast focusing 13 MP camera to take your most creative photos yet and combine it with the depth sensor for a blurred-out background and beautiful portraits.
In addition to the countries mentioned above, it’ll also be on sale here in the UK for a mere £99. Get it at Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, O2 and Tesco.
