We’re now getting more and more emails from music and movie PR teams. Not sure why, but today Lionsgate got in touch to let you guys know that, over the next four Saturdays, they will be making four of their movies available for absolutely nothing on YouTube.
Whilst we’re still half-in and half-out of this lockdown, you can enjoy a bag of popcorn and a Saturday sit-down in front of the TV to watch “La La Land”, “Eddie The Eagle”, “Bend It Like Beckham” and “The Hunger Games” on YouTube from 6PM (UK / BST) each Saturday night.
The films will be introduced by Edith Bowman, Keith Lemon, Jack Whitehall and Jonathan Ross, with Lionsgate UK raising money for NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Urgent Appeal and The Film and TV Charity COVID-19 Emergency Response.
Now, although they only emailed me today, it appears that things kicked off on May 2nd, so get watching this Saturday night to see “Bend It Like Beckham”. You’ll need to be watching this YouTube channel at 6PM. Next Saturday (May 23rd) will see “The Hunger Games” broadcast.
