Instead of heading down to the beach when you should be social distancing, you just take a rest on your own sofa with a can of their new Staycation beer.
I offered to “test” this beer … several times, but I don’t have any here. What I can tell you is that it’s a 5.2% IPA which is like “summer in a can” according to the brewery – packed full of citrus hop aromas and juicy tropical fruit notes.
Now, you might think that I’ve just written a story about beer because I like beer, and you’d be right.. err… but there is a smartphone element to it too. It’s fair to say that most of us are mourning the cancellation of our holidays and maybe feel like this means summer is over. But, it doesn’t have to be like that. With Staycation we wanted to create a beer that turned that feeling on its head and instead helps everyone celebrate the fact that we are all doing our bit by staying at home.
The beer is £2.35 a can and available from the Beavertown webshop only. All profits generated by this particular beer will go The Trussell Trust.
