The 888 will be at the heart of the flagship 2021 smartphones and fully integrates a 5G modem instead of having a separate modem chip like the Snapdragon 865. Enhanced performance, a 5nm process, better 5G carrier aggregation, faster AI, speedier photography and battery improvements are all on the horizon.
Oppo has also announced plans to launch the next Find X series in Q1 2021 using the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform.
