Packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and a 6.39″ HD+ (720 x 1560, 19.5:9) screen, this is the new Nokia 5.4 from HMD Global.
It comes with a rather cool rear camera arrangement (48 megapixel main, 2 megapixel depth, 5 megapixel ultrawide and 2 megapixel macro) plus a 16 megapixel selfie shooter via the punch-hole in the screen. There’s going to be a few variants floating around – a 4GB/64GB model, a 4GB/128GB model and a 6GB/64GB one. Either way, you get a microSD card slot for more storage.
Powered by a 4000 mAh battery, it’ll do 10W fast charging via the USB-C port, plus there’s NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, aptX Adaptive audio and a 3.5mm audio port.
Available in Polar Night or Dusk, you can sign up to get the phone, which boast a 2-day battery life, Android 11 and an AI camera with enhanced editing facilities. It’ll be available on December 18th from Nokia.com/phones in Polar Night, with the Dusk shade appearing in January. The base 4/64 GB configuration will be £159.99 and you’ll see it popping up on Amazon and Argos soon enough too.
We’re told that the handset “champions speed and performance at amazing value”, plus it’ll get three years of security updates at least. Key features here at that 4000mAh battery, the tough polycarbonate body, the 48 megapixel main camera and 60FPS video recording.
