ASUS have just wrapped up their CES event in Las Vegas and one stand-out phone was the Zenfone Zoom. This might actually remind you of the Nokia Lumia 1020 from the back…

Who could forget that iconic design?
The Zenfone Zoom is focussed (excuse the pun) on the mobile photographer who wants to get some great images but doesn’t want to carry a separate camera with them.
You get a 13 megapixel camera on the back with dual LED flash and 3x optical zoom, which is very rare in a phone. You also get laser autofocus like you see in the LG G3 and the new G Flex2, and it comes complete with OIS.
You also get full manual controls to allow changing of the ISO, shutter speed and exposure which will help get that perfect photo in any condition.
Other than the 5.5 inch 1080p screen and the fact it runs Android 5.0 there is little information right now so we will update this post once Asus give us more to go on.
As a keen mobile photographer myself, I am very much looking forward to getting hands on one of these hopefully at MWC in March.
Apart from that we are looking at a Q2 release if you want to get your hands on one.
