Ahead of IFA – the consumer electronics trade show in Berlin – Huawei have sent us a few clues as to what to expect at their launch event. We will, as per usual, be reporting live, and Huawei will be doing their reveal on September 2nd, just before the event starts..
So, what can we gleam from this? Well, if I’m to guess I could say that it’d be a tablet with the spookily-good haptic feedback that I experienced on the prototype Fujitsu tablet last year. When you touched the screen in certain areas it would vibrate in such a way that you’d feel as if the screen had lumps and bumps on it. The sharp vibration was like a less abrasive version of those “electric shock” games you may have seen in arcades. A little hard to describe perhaps, so we filmed a video…
Of course, all of this is just guesswork. All we can say for certain is that the device will have some sort of touch feature. To be honest it’ll probably be the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner we’ve seen rumoured on the Huawei Nexus 6…
