Right! We’ve got the HTC Desire 530. There wasn’t a huge launch at Barcelona for this particular one, just a press release and a couple on the stand. I think it’s safe to say that there wasn’t a huge crush around the display either.
The Desire 530 handsets we saw at the event had a cool paint splash effect, but the one we have here isn’t so whacky. Never mind though, because we’ve got it away from the big show lights and out into the real world for you to see..
The Desire 530 has a quad-core 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 CPU and a 5″ HD 720p Super LCD screen. There’s 16GB of storage plus a microSD slot and you get 1.5GB of RAM. The camera at the rear is an 8 megapixel f/2.4 aperture shooter and there’s a 5 megapixel unit at the front.
Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, NFC and GPS is here plus yes, that red power button to make it look a bit different from the pack. A … bit different.
I’ll be testing it out over the coming weeks and using it as my main handset, so do let me know if you have any questions.
Now, I know all these photos are nice to look at, but I’ve got you a nice little overview video to have a looksie at too. Here’s how it looked just minutes after the courier handed it over to me this morning 🙂
