London, U.K. – December 1st – Eastman Kodak Company and Bullitt Group today announced the KODAK EKTRA Smartphone will go on sale on Monday 5th December at The Kodakery, a London Kodak pop-up store, before being released Europe-wide from Tuesday 6th December.
The Kodakery, in London’s Soho, will offer consumers the first chance to try out and purchase the KODAK EKTRA Smartphone as well as showcasing a capsule collection of Kodak products. The Kodakery will provide a unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts – amateurs and professionals alike – to learn, be inspired, create and share. Celebrating Kodak’s rich history of imaging technology, the space will also showcase Kodak’s contemporary consumer products.
Originally unveiled on October 20th, the KODAK EKTRA Smartphone has generated broad interest from those who appreciate its classic retro design combined with the latest innovations in smartphone photography. Early samples have been seeded with a range of lifestyle influencers including travel blogger Chloe Gunning @wanderlustchloe and fashion blogger Olivia Blankson @livblankson with the images they capture showcasing its imaging capabilities, whatever the environment.
