Without the usual fanfare of an Apple launch, a number of new iDevices have been announced to the market.
Yes Red iPhones, larger capacity iPhone SEs and a new iPad have announced by everyone’s fruit based tech company, and we have to say that the red looks rather awesome.
The new red colour iPhone 7 and 7 plus is part of Apple’s Product Red Campaign which raises money for Aids and HIV good causes which so far has raised an impressive $130 million. The Product Red range also includes, a red iPod shuffle, nano and touch, red Beats products and a red Apple Watch sport band.
The Red iPhones do indeed look very nice with their vibrant red aluminum finish, although the white front facing bezel looks a little odd, a single colour red device would have been completely stunning.
Also announced was a 32GB and 128GB iPhone SE, which increases the storage on the small screen version of the iPhone, it’s worth mentioning that the old configurations will no longer be available.
Finally a new cheaper iPad has been announced, with a 9.7″ Retina screen and supporting a split screen mode at £339 offers real value.
Three have confirmed that they will be ranging the new Red iPhones for March 24th with the new iPAD following in April.
