Whilst not everyone will be heading to Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, Vietnam or Mayotte; those that do will now benefit from worry-free roaming on the Three network.
The UK network now has an impressive 71 destinations worldwide included in their “Feel At Home” system, now also known as “Go Roam”, with some 4.6 million Brits benefiting from the service this year alone.
There’s no extra cost to the service, and Three tell me that customers are using an average of 750MB of data per trip. Whilst trips around the EU are now “shock-less” on all UK networks, Three have a total of 71 destinations around the globe on their “Go Roam” system.
Three, began abolishing roaming charges in 2013, but Dave Dyson, Chief Executive at Three, has big ambitions…
(I want) to offer 100% free roaming worldwide, and we will continue to abolish unfair roaming charges until we achieve this. We’re passionate about improving our customers’ experience when travelling abroad, so they can stay connected and use their phones just as they do at home. To reassure our customers, we have also committed to no changes to roaming on Three following Brexit.
Three customers can also head to America, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Brazil without racking up any additional roaming costs.
