Come on, who doesn’t want a phone with a laser beam eh? Here, on the CAT S61, it doesn’t kill people (as in the Austin Powers movies) but it will measure distance accurately for you.
Not only that, but this tough and rugged phone has a smell sensor which checks for harmful gases and a trick infra-red camera so that you can see through fog or navigate in the dark.
We talked a lot about this last week and the specs, the build quality and those gadgets – all undeniably good. It’s waterproof, there’s a 16 and 8 megapixel camera back and front, it has a 5.2″ Full HD screen, 64GB of storage, a microSD card slot and 4GB of RAM. All good things, but the price might be a little high for the target market – €899 / £799 / $999.
