The nice people at Honor have gone and commissioned a London-based street photographer to capture images on their new Honor 9X. Shane Vincent has grabbed snaps on the phone as research reveals that 85% of Brits admit they’re posting more selfies than ever before – and men are taking more than women!
The research also reveals that 60% of young people are snapping shots without makeup and there’s new “Selfie Genres” emerging – including post work out selfies, pet selfies and “in bed with my partner” selfies.
The Honor 9X features a 48 megapixel triple AI camera, plus a pop up selfie camera so that your screen isn’t obstructed.
I’ll admit to taking a sweaty post workout selfie, but believe me, it’s not one I’d like to put on social media! The study also found that 16-29 year olds take 27% more photos on their smartphones than those over 30, which suggests that the next generation are likely to increasingly communicate through imagery.
Shots of family, friends, pets and natural scenery rank highly in the smartphone camera world.
