In today’s world of £1200, £1300, and even £2000 flagship phones, its nice to hear that phones at the other end of the scale are still being produced with some surprisingly good specifications.
Today Chinese phone manufacturer DOOGEE has announced the launch of its latest phone, the DOOGEE X95. Before I even start, I need to point out that the phone costs a mere £50. Yes. £50! The X95 still manages a 6.52″ Corning Gorilla glass 19:9 bezel-less water drop screen, a triple rear camera arrangement and a 4350mAh battery.
The cameras include a main 13 megaxpixel unit plus two 2 megapixel lenses. One of those is for your portrait shots and the other is your telephoto. Meanwhile, up front, there’s a 5 megapixel unit for your selfie action.
It’s powered by a quad-core MediakTek 6737 CPU and has 2GB RAM with 32GB of storage but you can increase that with a microSD card.
There’s a 4350 mAh battery that supports fast charge, plus it runs Android 10 and comes with 4G connectivity.
The screen runs at 540 x 1200 and is only 202ppi, plus we can’t find any NFC support but.. it’s £50!
The X95 is available in black, green and blue from AliExpress, GEARBEST and the DOOGEE online store globally with prices starting from $59.99/£50/€56 including delivery.
Yes, £50 including delivery! Hopefully we will get one for a full review pretty soon. We’re told that this one works perfectly on all UK networks.
