Sitting in the “affordable handset” category, this is the new G8 Pro. It can be found on the Motorola Enterprise website and packs a 6.4″ 1080 x 2300 Full HD+ 19:9 screen.
Running the Android One version of Android 10, this uses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SD665 CPU with an Adreno 610 and 4GB RAM. It’s got 128GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor, 4000mAh battery, USB-C turbo-charging (via the 18W supplierd charger) and up to two days battery life.
The camera array features a 48 megapixel quad pixel technology lens, a 2 megpixel lens and a 16 megapixel wide lens. Up front is a 16 megapixel selfie camera.
It’s do dual-band WiFi, 4G and comes with Bluetooth 5.0 plus NFC, 3.5 mm audio and two microphones. There’s also a dual speaker arrangement which has been tuned by Dolby.
This is a slight chunky puppy – 9.2mm, but this seems to be due to a stylus (yes, a stylus) coming with it.
It seems to be aimed at businesses this one – it even comes with a full brochure. The price, via Amazon, is just £289.
