We liked the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro. We really did. You can read all the parts of the Mi Pro 8 review here and you may remember me telling everyone just to go ahead and buy the thing immediately.
When it was launched this cost £499. For that, you get a 6.21″ 1080×2248 pixel Super AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU, 128GB of storage and 8GB of memory.
The cameras are pretty standard – a couple of 12 megapixel shooters around the back (telephone and a normal), plus a 20 megapixel selfie camera. Other details include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, IR face detection, Quick Charge 4.0+ and a 3000 mAh battery.
Now though, you can pick one up unlocked for a mere £199.95. That’s way less than half the price it was originally and you get that cool rear-end where you can see the CPU and stuff (OK, so it’s not real but it looks cool).
Get down Argos and get one.
