The other day we got a first look at ths super-slim P1 and P1 S from Huawei. Now, mark my words, Huawei are definitely worth keeping an eye on, especially with Mobile World Congress around the corner. They’re the people behind the Orange Tahiti tablet and their handsets are getting better and better by the year. The P1 and P1 S bear more than a passing resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S II. The Ascend P1 and P1 S has a 4.3″ 960×540 pixel super AMOLED screen with Gorilla glass, dual-core 1.5GHz CPU and that P1 S version is just 6.68mm thick.
With Android 4.0 (ICS) there’s also an 8 megapixel BSI rear-facing and a further 1.3-megapixel. It’ll arrive here in the UK in Q3 but will be hitting North America, Australia, China, Middle East and the Asia-Pacific from April.
We’ve managed to get a truck-load of images and the full press release below.
