If you are reading this the chances are that you are a Samsung Galaxy S owner and you are frustrated. Samsung decided that there was not enough space on the Galaxy S to fit the Ice Cream Sandwich update, which left a lot of people rather angry with Samsung.
As is usual with Android someone over at XDA Developers has created a super clean AOSP vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich rom and they managed to fit it onto the Galaxy S as well. Gosh, and someone should really tell Samsung that it is possible.
There has already been a few updates to this rom and now the developers are saying it is now nice and stable with barely any issues. It sounds like a good time to try it out. You will need to have your device suitably prepared for this. If you don’t know how. READ A LOT OF INFORMATION FIRST.
The same developers have also released a range of ICS roms for various other Galaxy S devices.
If you’re interested in this head over to the this article on XDA and pick your device. If you want to go straight to the Galaxy S thread it’s here.
