Details of the HTC Endeavor (which should, here in the UK, be “Endeavour”) have been posted over at MoDaCo. We’ve heard about this a while back now, and expect it to be the “official” name for the HTC Edge. Although there’s not really any additional info, it at least seems to marry up with the details we’ve seen earlier.
The Tegra 3 based 1.5GHz CPU is mentioned yet again – this is a quad-core chip, as is the 8 megapixel camera, 4.7″ screen and Ice Cream Sandwich. A face-pointing 1.3 megapixel camera looks to be on the cards.

Is this picture likely, as ICS doesnt need the buttons?????
this was an early rendering. HTC has said they are going to keep the capacitive buttons and not use the on screen buttons associated with ICS. there will only be three instead of four however….

Edge is a much better name :-(. Also 4.3″ is just about acceptable 4.7″ is scarily close to 5″! The Nexus was also 4.7″ but didn’t take up space with buttons.
