Nokia is aiming for a Billion mobile users – and they want TWO billion by 2008!
They want to make mobiles cheaper in order to encourage this growth – and are concentrating on “new” markets (where phones don’t exist much) such as India, Latin America and Russia.
At present there’s 1.2 Billion mobile users in the world, and Nokia sees huge room for improvement and sales. Nokia wants to spend less on grabbing the customer in the first place.
