An interesting story here on a device which records TV programs direct onto an SD card, which can then be slotted into a phone for playback anywhere.
Mitsubishi Plastics makes the pyramid-shape recording device, which connects with a TV or VCR. An SD or miniSD card then slots in and apparently it’ll record two hours on a 128Mb card. The device doesn’t need a PC and should be available at the end of June.
