The latest Nielsen figures are out and they reveal that Windows Phone still hasn’t overtaken the previous Windows Mobile operating system. More than half of US mobile owners now have what’s classified as a “smartphone” but Windows Phone is still struggling to beat the “Other” category at the moment.

Android OS 48.5%
iOS 32.0%
RIM Blackberry 11.6%
Windows Mobile 4.1%
Other 2.1%
Windows Phone 1.7%
