The sexy HTC Touch has now sold over one million units following its’ launch in June. Digitimes reports that the company is looking for an overall 20% growth in handset shipments next year, an increase on their projected 11 million HTC units this year.
HTC have already used the “Touch” moniker in other devices and have also released these funky new designs for the original HTC Touch, although they’re currently only available in Taiwan. They’ve also announced a new range of enhanced HTC Touch devices with new colours and an increase of memory – 256MB RAM instead of the existing 128Mb. We’re also seeing improvements to the HTC TouchFLO and HTC Home system, new HTC Gallery software (seen in our HTC Touch Dual review) and networks like Sprint have worked with HTC to make even more changes to the way programs are launched through the innovative HTC 3D “Cube”.
