In our continuing mission to keep you informed on the latest Windows Mobile handsets we’ve managed to get hold of an Orange SPV M600 for the next few days. I’ve had stacks of emails about this one and I’ll be working on a full review as soon as possible.
We’re expecting to see it on Orange very soon indeed – hopefully within the next two weeks. I’ve literally had this one in my hands for 20 minutes and as usual I’m currently playing with the new 2 Megapixel camera. It’s worth noting that this camera has a “close up” mode which is switched by rotating the lens rim. The result? Well, HTC have always had problems with “not quite perfect, but they’re alright” cameras. This one though, is great. Have a look at this shot, which was taken with the close-up mode. Excellent.
There’s more random photos taken with the M600 here, here, here, here, here, and here. These are all 2 Megapixel 1600×1200 originals from the device itself. I’ve also uploaded the reduced versions below (click “read more”). I took these really quickly on the way to the shop for a sandwich – I was walking when I took them and yet there’s no jitter or blur at all… now, if only there was a flash, I’d be set. 🙂
Review should be online very soon. Keep it locked!
