BenQ have announced this – the BenQ P51. Hmm.. it looks a lot like the P50 doesn’t it? You may remember that the P50 recently had a rebrand and a few tweaks (including adding Windows Mobile 5.0) in order to be sold as the AnexTEK SP310. Now it looks like BenQ have had the same idea by adding Windows Mobile 5.0, push email, VoIP via WiFi, an integrated SiRF Star III GPS receiver and navigation software, Bluetooth, 1.3 Megapixel cam (with flash), SDIO, and 802.11b/g WiFi.
The Quad-band device also has a 240×320 TFT screen and strangely, according to this data sheet, it’s due to arrive “Q3 2005”.. whoops….. has someone just quickly tweaked the P50 details? Hmm.. The P51 is, by all accounts, the P51 with Windows Mobile 5.0 and GPS on board.
