Vodafone have scored another exclusive with the launch of the upcoming LG GM750. This is a phone we spotted last month and features the LG S-Class user-interface. This is yet another phone launching on October 6th and, just like all the other WinMo 6.5 phones, it’ll be covering up the new WinMo 6.5 interface as much as possible.
The device features WiFi, 3″ touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera and GPS. We’re also hearing that it’ll feature a 3.5mm audio port, radio and microSD expansion.
We’ve always liked LG handsets but we’ve not seen a great many Windows Mobile devices here in the UK, so it’s great to see that LG are gearing up for a full assault on the Smartphone market. Today they’ve also announced that a total of 13 new LG handsets appearing with WinMo before the end of 2010. Three devices will be appearing in the next few weeks (the GM750 is just one) and we’re guessing that other devices might include the Herald (LG GW600 HQ) and the LG KT878. An application store (yes, another app store) will also be available towards the end of this year on these handsets.
Update – One of the LG phones is actually the LG-GW550, a QWERTY smartphone that’s been around for a while but now flashed with WinMo 6.5. It’s got a 2.4″ QVGA (240×320) screen with 3 megapixel cam and a 1300mAh battery.
