This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Dell Lightning. It’s powered by Windows Phone 7 and has just been leaked by engadget. Reminding us ever-so-slightly of the Orange SPV M2000 it’s a portraid QWERTY slider with some very hot specs. A 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon CPU, a 4.1″ OLED WVGA screen plus a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. You also get 1GB Flash, 512MB RAM and what seems to be an 8GB hard-wired microSD card, accelerometer, GPS, compass and an FM radio.
The Lightning will also have full Adobe Flash support and there’s news of an LTE upgrade too.
Oh and yes, it is a long way off.. 🙁
This should arrive later this year. More as we get it.
