FCC applications are possibly the single biggest source of leaked information about new devices and this latest one is no exception.
Sony are really just plugging away with their confusing naming convention and if this FCC application ever appears Sony will have just started again at the beginning of the alphabet.
Naming conventions aside the Xperia A has a pretty good spec.
– Removable 2300mAh battery
– 5-inch 1080p display
– 16GB storage
– 2GB RAM
– 13MP Exmor RS camera
– 2.2MP front camera
– Dimensions of 139mm x 71mm x 7.9mm
– Weight 146g
Although the Xperia A won’t feature a glass back panel, choosing to go with removable battery instead, which many people cite as a necessary requirement.
It seems that Sony are preparing their next range of phones. Hopefully they’ll make it to the UK as the whole Xperia thing appeals to me apart from the sealed battery. Who knows maybe one day Sony will make a Windows Phone and then I’ll really be on board.

Sony will never make a windows phone, because then they will be supporting Xbox on windows phone?
