EE 4G GOES LIVE IN 12 MORE TOWNS ACROSS THE UK

· EE now delivering superfast 4G mobile to businesses and consumers in 74 towns and cities across the UK, just seven months after launch
May 30, 2013 – EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, today announced that 4G is available in 12 more towns across the UK. The superfast mobile network now covers 74 towns and cities across the UK.
Today, 4GEE is being switched on in Ashton-under-Lyne, Chatham, Gillingham, High Wycombe, Merthyr Tydfil, Oldham, Oxford, Rochester, Runcorn, Sale, Stafford and Wigan as the rapid pace of the roll out continues. 4G from EE covers the homes and businesses of more than 50% of the UK population.

Recent reports of network experience in Manchester and Hull from independent network testing company RootMetrics ranked EE highest for mobile internet and overall combined performance.
