Two notoriously accurate leak sites are reporting Nexus 5 specs that are said to be from the Taiwanese LG factory it’s being made in.
There’s only a few to go on, but they claim it’s going to be a 5.2″ full HD device, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800.
The LG G2 is said to heavily influence the design of the Nexus 5 (much like the Nexus 4 was based on the original G), with its thin bezels but the innovative rear buttons aren’t going to be included. Instead it’s going to inherit the love-it-or-loathe-it glass panel back from the Nexus 4.
Some of the early predictions we saw floating around seem to have been quite near the money, although for a long time most people thought it would have the slightly inferior Snapdragon 600 SoC.
The release date of Q3 2013 is pretty much guaranteed, but it is still worth taking these specs with a pinch of salt for the time being.
