It’s Friday, so it’s the beginning of the first Mobile World Congress announcements. Microsoft and Nokia have started things off with a bang and now ViewSonic Europe have announced a Dual-SIM Android phone and a Windows / Android dual-boot tablet.
First up, their Android smartphone. It’s called the V350 and has a 3.5″ HVGA capacitive screen with Android 2.2. Both SIM cards can access their respective networks at the same time to allow users to have a business and personal number in the same handset. Other specs include a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera, microSD expansion, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and aGPS
Meanwhile the ViewPad 10Pro boots into Android 2.2 / Windows 7 tablet and has a 1024×600 capacitive multi-touch panel with 3G connection through an on-board SIM. Powered by an Intel Oak Trail CPU, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth is also included as is Flash 10.1. ViewSonic will be showing the 3G version of this device for the first time at Mobile World Congress.
