Thinking of getting a Tattoo? No, not that type of Tattoo. It’s the new Android device from HTC. Announced today it’s the Android phone for the masses. Although many will see this as an “entry level” device it’ll come complete with the innovative HTC Sense experience and a very decent specs list.
Powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 @ 528Mhz it’s got a 2.8″ screen with 240×320 QVGA resolution – the first QVGA screen we’ve seen for Android. WiFi a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, GPS, G-Sensor, compass, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP plus HSDPA/WCDMA connectivity is also on board.
It looks like the HTC Android-Train shows no signs of slowing. This will be available at the beginning of October, starting in Europe. You can already get your name down for the unlocked version on devicewire.com
Oh, and yes – this is the HTC Click that we spotted earlier. Read on for the press release, more pictures and full specs.
Update – Devicewire.com have now added prices and availability for the unlocked model. It’ll cost £319.99 with VAT and stock is arriving on the 23rd of October.
Update – We now have confirmation from HTC that this device will have a resistive screen, not capacitive like on the Hero. Resistive is cheaper, but it means more jabbing with your finger. Apparently it was chosen because resistive is more accurate on smaller screens.. yes, if you’re using a stylus.
